The 2026 NZ Federation of Commercial Fishermen's conference in Wellington at Tākina, the Wellington Convention Centre. It will be held alongside the Seafood New Zealand conference (May 26-27).

With 2026 being an election year, we’re looking forward to co-hosting our respective conferences side by side in the Capital. This supercharges the access of our members to each other as well as to government Ministers and opposition spokespeople.

In particular, we encourage you to register for the Seafood Showcase and Awards held on Wednesday 27 May. This event will start late afternoon with the presentation of the Seafood Stars Awards, and will be followed by the not-to-be-missed Seafood Showcase. This will be a great opportunity to network with the wider industry ahead of the Federation full-day conference and fish n' chip auction on the 28th.

You can register for the Seafood New Zealand conference by clicking here.

We look forward to hosting you in the Capital.
